Profile
Iain trained with Freshfields and was admitted in 1980. After a spell in Freshfields' Commercial Property Department he joined Downs of Dorking, becoming an equity partner in 1982. He stayed with Downs until he joined Thomas Eggar in July 2001. Whilst at Downs he was Head of the Commercial Property Department, Chairman of the firm's management committee and a member of the firm's business development forum. Iain was elected as the firm's Deputy Managing Partner in May 2004.Achievements & other appointments
