Responsibilities
- Strategic and general corporate commercial advice to key decision makers and owner managers of SMEs and LMEs particularly in connection with the hotel, leisure and travel sector.
- Project management (legal) in connection with international hotel and resort projects - working for owners/investors, banks, operators or supply chain.
- Advice on legal issues relating to commercialisation of products and services.
- Expansion strategies into Asian markets, focusing on India and Asia Pacific region. Liaison partners for professionals, trade associations and clients based in India, Hong Kong, China, Singapore, Malaysia and Australia.
- Dawn spends a considerable amount of time in India and Asia Pacific region (Hong Kong, Singapore, Melbourne) each year and is responsible for our professional and client connections in these locations.
- Drafting and negotiation of commercial agreements generally relating to the above and procurement / supply chain management.
- Exit management, Asset management and Risk management issues.
- Notarial services.
Profile
Dawn gained a 2.1 Honours Degree from Kingston University before completing her professional examinations at Guildford College of Law with distinction. Dawn is also a fully qualified Notary Public. Before joining the firm in 1998, Dawn worked for a leading helicopter operator.Types of client
