Planning

Planning has always been a complicated area of the law that is continually changing. Over the past few years, policy guidance has been revisited, revised and reissued.

More bodies than ever now have a say in how land is used, in town or country the Scottish Parliament, Welsh Assembly, the elected Mayor and Assembly for London, to name a few. The latest changes have introduced complex new concepts like Local Development Orders, and overlapping appeal jurisdiction.
